Cassandra Fox is a multi-award winning professional Belly Dancer and Caribbean fusion dancer from Coldwater, Ontario. She began belly dancing in 2008 while studying Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences at the University of Guelph, and eventually merged her love of belly dance with her Jamaican heritage to develop her Caribbean fusion style which blends Caribbean music and movement with belly dance movement.
Beyond her Caribbean fusion, Cassandra is also known for her strong presence, powerful technique, and animated style of belly dance. Best known for her drum solos, her most viewed drum solo video has over 121 million views on Facebook. She has taught and performed throughout Canada, the US, and Europe. When not dancing Cassandra enjoys tea, cats, crocheting, sewing, fabric hoarding, loves horses, and her boyfriend too! |
Hailing from Casablanca, Morocco, Nawarra studied Arts and Drama at University before taking the opportunity in 1996 to come to the UK and continue her studies in Leeds. In Morocco she was a member of various Theatre Groups specialising in sketch-shows and comedy and also working with some of the Top Moroccan Comedians. Nawarra loves to entertain and bring a great passion, high energy and sense of fun to every performance.
Privileged to be pointed at several times as the Moroccan Fifi! Nawarra her own dance style and is honoured to see her name more and more linked to anything Moroccan. She has taken part in enormous dance events all over the world for more than 15 years - from Morocco to Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Israel , Croatia, Turkey Greece, Japan, Ireland, Sweden, and lots more... Nawarra is the inspiration and drive behind the Funoon Project in the UK, a theatre show dedicated entirely to the Folkloric dances of the Middle East. Nawarra also takes dancers all over the world with her flourishing Travel Agency her well know Funoon Dance Camp. |
