Layering, level changes, travelling steps, flourishes, accents, nuances, expression. Projecting movements with strength, power, or softness. No choreography, just an in depth look at movement and mechanics and the musicality to make them shine. This workshop covers various exercises and techniques to help build confidence and skills for improvising. Saturday 7th November Venue to be confirmed 11 am – 12.30 pm Reggadda Traditional dance born in the North east of Morocco by the two berber tribes: beni Snassen and Izennayyen: usually danced by both men and women-- also known as the moroccan Saiidi-- as the dancers use the sticks side their shoulders and down their hips, moves with strong shoulder shimmies, and certain step patterns.
